Steven Rosso Named as President of the "New" VIEW Engineering, Inc.

Simi Valley, CA - Following its recent acquisition by Quality Vision International, Inc., VIEW Engineering, Inc., has reassumed its original corporate name and is reasserting its pioneering leadership in the market for high-performance metrology systems.  Since its 1997 acquisition by General Scanning and subsequent role as the Metrology Division of GSI Lumonics, VIEW Engineering has essentially functioned as a division of companies with broader non-metrology interests.  Now, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of QVI, VIEW Engineering is once again able to focus all of its resources directly upon serving the metrology needs of its core markets and continuing to extend the state-of-the-art in vision-based, non-contact metrology systems.

In addition, the company has announced that Steven Rosso, an experienced veteran of the metrology industry, has been selected as President to lead the re-established VIEW Engineering, Inc.  After previously serving as VIEW Engineering's Director of Marketing from 1992 to 1997, Mr. Rosso was the founder and President of DiMetrix, a comprehensive full-service provider of metrology products, applications, and services.
