Jeanna C. Sanchez, Founder

Jeanna has 15 years experience in creating, managing, and implementing integrated marketing communications
programs, on both the client and the agency side, as well as extensive technical writing and editing experience. She has managed multiple
marketing program elements, including public relations, advertising, creative, and media planning with primary deadline and budgetary responsibility.
Upon founding JCS Public Relations, Jeanna chose to focus on public relations as she feels the field best matches her strengths. She is able to apply
her communications management experience in PR program creation and implementation, as well as her exceptional capabilities in writing, editing,
relationship-building with editors of the trade press, and article placement worldwide. She believes in the power of PR as a key and cost-effective method
to promote company’s products and services to the marketplace, ultimately leading to sales for her clients.
Leadership positions held by Jeanna in the marketing arena include: Director of Client Services at The Oddo Group, where she managed all key accounts; and
Business Communication Development Analyst at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, where she developed and implemented a comprehensive communication plan for
an organization of 5,000 employees. She knew that project management, writing, and editing were her calling when she started working at UC Berkeley’s Haas School
of Business in the Alumni Relations Office right out of college.
Jeanna graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UC Berkeley with a BA in Psychology with an industrial/organizational emphasis. She also completed extensive
graduate-level work at San Jose State University in Mass Communications.

Susan M. Oddo, Communication Strategist

Susan brings over 35 years of strategic communications planning, implementation, and metrics to JCS Public Relations. She has an excellent track record of
helping clients turn challenges into profit through re-visioneering strategies applied to business systems in tandem with new communications tactics. Highly
experienced in client- and agency-side marketing communications, Susan designs publicity programs that drive stellar results directly to the bottom line.
Most recently, Susan founded AlignQuest, a strategic planning consultancy, where she led her start-up clients in the design of superior communications programs.
By reengineering their business communications, her clients were able to maximize sales opportunities through better customer support programs and expanded prospecting
approaches. This methodology ultimately led to increased investor and stakeholder confidence, improved employee relations, and increased sales.
Prior to AlignQuest, Susan was CEO of The Oddo Group, where she was responsible for spearheading and driving integrated public relations, advertising, creative,
and web teams for clients in the high technology, manufacturing, telecommunications, medical, and biotech fields. She personally developed innovative communications
strategies that were highly successful in expanding client’s visibility of message, products, and services, ultimately leading to significant increases in market share.
While at The Oddo Group, Susan also co-founded PixelRocket Web Technologies. Susan was an early adopter of the Internet as the lead marketing tool of the future
and maintains direct involvement in the design of publicity and marketing programs that utilize the rapidly changing methods for reaching cyberspace audiences.
Susan co-founded and served as Vice President of Informational Media Corporation, where she co-directed the award-winning instructional systems design teams for all
military services under DOD, as well as numerous other government agencies.
At The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, she oversaw all communications programs; managed press relations with the worldwide biotech press for the scientific and lay
communities; was editor of the newsletter; handled donor relations; and produced the first Tax Seminar Series for large-scale donors.
Susan is an honors graduate in Psychology, Government, and Public Administration, International Relations, and Adult Educational Technology from American University.
She has completed advanced coursework in marketing and journalism and is certified in instructional systems design and strategic planning.
